Thirteen Things That Happened in the Past Thirteen Days
- We found out Husband got a job transfer to Richmond, VA. Yay!
- We went to Richmond and bought a house in one day.
- I had a little melt down because it's much more expensive there so we couldn't get a house like we have now.
- Husband stayed in VA and is already working. I came ALONE. boo hoo
- I put our house on the market here in Columbus.
- A recessed light went out in our two story family room.
- I impressed myself (and Husband!) by changing it with a very tall ladder, an 11 ft. pole, a suction cup and string.
- I wish I hadn't told Husband because now he thinks I can do handy type things. Blows my "poor little me" image.
- The guy who came today to take pictures of this house to put in a brochure said, "Um, I think there's something wrong with your furnace." Crap
- The vet told me today that my cat Hobbes needs his teeth cleaned at a cost of $600-$800 even though they were cleaned last year. WTH?!
- Hobbes apparently has a mammoth hairball and has been puking on the carpet daily despite me going through an entire tube of Cat Lax in an attempt to make it come out the other way.
- The guy husband hired to mow the lawn since he's gone came once and now that the lawn is half a foot high he's no where to be found.
- The movers will be here in 2 1/2 weeks to move us.

Visting and buying in one day is great. Wow, that doens't happen often.
Wow, that's a lot fo dental work on your cat. We had a quote not long ago for it and it was not near that much. Yikes.

Wow! We've done the marathon buy a house thing...not fun. We took a week to choose and ended up settling.
Sorry about your kitty...that must be terrible for your carpet (cuz I know that animals won't puke on the easy to clean surface of the flat floor...must puke on carpet!!)
I hope you sell for big bucks and hunt down your lawn mower and mow his head! How dare he skip on you.
heehee, i refuse to change a lightbulb or go up to the attic. Not because I can't but because I don't want to HAVE to d it.
I hope your house sells quicky,it's hard living apart. We had to do it for 5 months.

Welcome to Virginia! I lived in Richmond for a year. In what area did you buy your house? You're only an hour away from DC, (ok, more with traffic) so maybe you can come up and we can visit!

You have busy days ahead of you! can't do a thing around the house and I like it that way :) I am in charge of appliances which need programming... Didn't know cats had to get their teeth cleaned...they keep themselves clean, don't they, lol! Happy TT!

Yeah. You really blew the "poor little ol' me" routine! ;)
Snickers need her teeth cleaned, too. She just had them cleaned last June or July. Another $700 minimum... more if I want her to have IV fluids and the "newer" anesthesia that has a lower death rate. Duh!
